A paper folding work made by myself, which became my inspiration. The amazing shapes inspired me that is there possible to create some complex geometrical shape in ceramic works.

Inspired by origami works, I designed this house used vase. The House of John Lewis invited us to create a hollow object that using slip casting skills. It was my first ceramic project in my BA, and I decided to try something unusual. Making this geometrical shape for a vase was a considerable challenge, and I failed in making wooden model many times. However, I managed by using marble board to create the origami shape and succeed in producing plastic mould. And I am happy with the result.
